Photographic Evidence 2022 - 2023:
Throughout the year we try to be involved in as many different campus and community activities as possible. Here are just a few of the photographs of some of our activities including: Book Club events, digital fundraising, our first annual "No One Eats Alone" campaign, designing our team t-shirt, Reading Buddies activities between our 1st and 8th graders, volunteering at our annual blood drive, gardening, STEM assemblies, art contests, Wreaths Across America, Band events, and more...
2021 - 2022:
This year, members of our Girls Build team attended a 2-day Student2Student Summit with other local middle and high school students. We were trained by the Military Child Educational Coalition and next year are planning on working with them to help welcome new students to our campus.

2020-2021:
Monthly Team "Challenge Bags"
To provide structure and action into our academic year, our team decided to incorporate a monthly team "Challenge Bag" into our curriculum to provide stability and consistency into an already crazy, unpredictable year!
Our monthly challenge bags kept the team busy learning about various topics, exploring issues, trying new health and wellness routines (like yoga and meditation exercises), spreading kindness, creating DIY projects, and so much more...
Our coordinator Ms. Lighston planned, purchased, assembled and hand-delivered ten bags each month at homes across the Antelope Valley (from Palmdale to Lancaster to Littlerock) - to ensure that the girls had supplies and activities to keep their minds exploring, their hands busy, and their hearts open. Attached below, please find the welcome letters from the team coordinator explaining each of the monthly challenges from January through May:
